Who we are
West African Community Council is a 501(c)(3) registered charity.
We are located in King County, and serve mainly the West African refugee and immigrant community.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
We are using trusted software to build and protect our site, and taking every known precaution to protect your personal information from malware and bots that exist on the web. We require minimal information from users in our intake forms, and store as little data as we can get away with – here is everything you’ll need to know.
Our contact form uses Contact 7 and Contact Form CFDB7 to accept incoming messages and parse them from spam messages before sending them to our inbox at firstname.lastname@example.org. To do this, your name, email, and messages are stored in a WordPress Database.
Our GiveWP donation forms use PayPal’s Standard Payment Pathway to complete IPN verified transactions. We do not require billing details.
