WAFP is an all-day, affordable preschool program that uses Seattle’s Department of Early Education and Learning’s best practices to ensure children have access to the highest quality early education, and are equip to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Eligibility
- Children must be 3 or 4 years old by August 31st of the participating year
- Families must live in Seattle city limits
- Family Size gross income must meet the following criteria

Full day (6.5-10 hours) – before and after school programs available
How much does it cost?
Free, but accepting of private pay or DSHS subsidy.
Is food provided for children?
Yes! We provide breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks.
